While teams generally invest in 12-14 bowlers including the all-rounders, in all, they need at least 6 quality bowling options that will be a part of their first-choice playing 11.

#10: Lucknow Super Giants – 8.488

At number 10, we have Lucknow Super Giants with a bowling lineup rating of 8.488 for IPL 2025. LSG almost have an all-Indian bowling lineup with Mitchell Marsh as the sixth bowling option. The bowling lineup is full of potential, but there is big gap when it comes to experience. Ravi Bishnoi is the team’s best bowler, and others like Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan, Avehs Khan, and Akash Deep are good pace options.

The team has great firepower in batting, but in bowling, there is once again a minor gap. Josh Hazlewood is the team’s best bowler. But aside from Hazlewood and Bhuvi, the team will have to rely on 12 overs from Yash Dayal, Suyash Sharma, and Krunal Pandya, which can be an issue.

The team has the benchmark spinner, Rashid Khan, and the rest of the bowling is good too with Rabada, Siraj, Prasidh, and Arshad being good pace options, and Sundar supporting Rashid in the spin department.

These three are solid replacements, and to support them, Tushar and Sandeep aren’t bad options either. However, RR may face a sixth bowling issue due to a lack of proper all-rounders in the side. So, in all, RR will have to rely on their top 5 bowlers.

The team has a solid mix of spin and pace bowling with the likes of Arshdeep and Marco in the powerplay, and Lockie, Chahal, and Harpreet in the middle-overs. Whereas Yash Thakur and Arshdeep will be good death bowling options.
