IPL 2025 All 10 Teams Strongest Playing 11 Ranking and Rating

#10: Punjab Kings – 8.681

At number 10, we have Punjab Kings with a playing 11 rating of 8.681. Talking about Punjab Kings’ playing 11, the team under Shreyas Iyer looks a little inexperienced as compared to other teams. They do have batting depth till 8 with 7-8 bowling options, but there are a few uncapped players like Prabsimran Singh, Shashank Singh, Harpreet Brar, Yash Thakur, and Nehal Wadhera who will have to perform exceptionally well for PBKS to have a good season.

IPL 2025 Strongest Playing 11 for Punjab Kings (PBKS):

  1. Marcus Stoinis
  2. Prabsimran Singh (wk)
  3. Shreyas Iyer (c)
  4. Glenn Maxwell
  5. Shashank Singh
  6. Nehal Wadhera
  7. Marco Jansen
  8. Harpreet Brar
  9. Lockie Ferguson
  10. Arshdeep Singh
  11. Yuzvendra Chahal

Best Impact Player: Yash Thakur

#9: Delhi Capitals – 8.700

Number 9 sees Delhi Capitals with a playing 11 rating of 8.7. Delhi will see KL Rahul as their new leader, and the team has good batting till number 6. However, there is lack of experience in the finishing department. Whereas in the bowling department, there are technically only 5 bowling options. So either DC will have to play Sameer Rizvi for batting depth or an extra bowler like for bowling variety. Overall, Delhi Capitals have a decent playing 11, which still looks less lethal than other teams.

IPL 2025 Strongest Playing 11 for Delhi Capitals (DC):

  1. KL Rahul (c)
  2. Jake Fraser-McGurk
  3. Abhishek Porel (wk)
  4. Harry Brook
  5. Tristan Stubbs
  6. Axar Patel
  7. Ashutosh Sharma
  8. Sameer Rizvi
  9. Mitchell Starc
  10. Kuldeep Yadav
  11. Mukesh Kumar

Best Impact Player: T. Natarajan

#8: Lucknow Super Giants – 8.701

At number 8, we have LSG with a playing 11 rating of 8.701. LSG will mostly see Rishabh Pant as their leader, and the team has a solid top 5 in batting – probably among the best. However, the lower order lacks experience, and the bowling department is purely dependent on the Indian players, which can be an issue for them. Overall, LSG are well-balanced, and minor playing 11 gaps can be overcome.

IPL 2025 Strongest Playing 11 for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG):

  1. Aiden Markram
  2. Mitchell Marsh
  3. Nicholas Pooran
  4. Rishabh Pant (wk)
  5. David Miller

  7. Abdul Samad
  8. Shahbaz Ahmed
  9. Ravi Bishnoi
  10. Mohsin Khan
  11. Mayank Yadav

Best Impact Player: Avesh Khan

#7: Kolkata Knight Riders – 8.771

Number 7 sees the defending champions KKR with a playing 11 rating of 8.771. KKR have almost retained their IPL 2024 playing 11, but the departure of Shreyas Iyer, Phil Salt, and Mitchell Starc has kind of reduced their rating. Their replacements Quinton de Kock, Ajinkya Rahane, and Anrich Nortje aren’t bad options, but how they support the other 9 players will be interesting to watch. It will also be interesting to see who leads the team, and fills the void left by Shreyas Iyer.

IPL 2025 Strongest Playing 11 for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR):

  1. Quinton de Kock (wk)
  2. Sunil Narine
  3. Ajinkya Rahane
  4. Venkatesh Iyer
  5. Rinku Singh
  6. Andre Russell
  7. Ramandeep Singh
  8. Anukul Roy
  9. Harshit Rana
  10. Anrich Nortje
  11. Varun Chakravarthy

Best Impact Player: Vaibhav Arora

#6: Rajasthan Royals – 8.792

For number 6, we have RR with a playing 11 rating of 8.792. RR have a solid batting lineup with a solid player like Hetmyer coming at 6. However, there’s a gap in the lower-order, and that can become an issue in crucial matches. The team’s bowling looks solid, but they technically have only 5 bowling options. It will be interesting to see how Sanju Samson manages his troops with a completely new bowling lineup.

IPL 2025 Strongest Playing 11 for Rajasthan Royals (RR):

  1. Sanju Samson (c&wk)
  2. Yashasvi Jaiswal
  3. Nitish Rana
  4. Riyan Parag
  5. Dhruv Jurel
  6. Shimron Hetmyer
  7. Shubham Dubey
  8. Wanindu Hasaranga
  9. Jofra Archer
  10. Tushar Deshpande
  11. Maheesh Theekshana

Best Impact Player: Sandeep Sharma

#5: Gujarat Titans – 8.840

At number 5, we have Gujarat Titans with a playing 11 rating of 8.840. GT have one of the best top-order in the competition in the form of Gill, Sudharsan, and Buttler. However, there is a gap in the rest of the batting order. The likes of Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Washington Sundar, Mahipal Lomror, and Sherfane Rutherford will have to perform to their best for GT to have a good season. However, the bowling does have some really good names, and that will be their strength once again

IPL 2025 Strongest Playing 11 for Gujarat Titans (GT):

  1. Shubman Gill (c)
  2. Jos Buttler (wk)
  3. Sai Sudharsan
  4. Shahrukh Khan

  7. Mahipal Lomror
  8. Washington Sundar

  11. Mohammed Siraj

Best Impact Player: Prasidh Krishna

#4: Royal Challengers Bengaluru – 8.841

Number 4 sees Royal Challengers Bengaluru with a playing 11 rating of 8.841. RCB are once again a batting-centric team with solid batting till number 7. Only if their bowling was as good as their batting, they would have been the team to watch out for. But the bowling doesn’t inspire much confidence if Yash Dayal, Suyash Sharma, Krunal Pandya, and Rasikh Dar have to bowl 12 overs. A lot will be dependent on Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar for RCB to have a good season with the ball.

IPL 2025 Strongest Playing 11 for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB):

  1. Phil Salt
  2. Virat Kohli
  3. Rajat Patidar
  4. Jitesh Sharma (wk)
  5. Liam Livingstone
  6. Tim David
  7. Krunal Pandya

  11. Yash Dayal

Best Impact Player: Suyash Sharma

#3: Mumbai Indians – 8.931

Number 3 belongs to Mumbai Indians with a playing 11 rating of 8.931. MI probably have the best top 5 batters in the competition. The lower-order backs experience would be better if Naman Dhir and Robin Minz were given the opportunity. However, when you have such an outstanding bowling lineup, the lack of experience in the lower-order can be covered. MI’s strength is their bowling, and that’s the best in the competition. If MI get a solid 400+ runs from 3-4 batters, a place in the Playoffs is guaranteed.

IPL 2025 Strongest Playing 11 for Mumbai Indians (MI):

  1. Will Jacks
  2. Rohit Sharma
  3. Tilak Varma
  4. Suryakumar Yadav
  5. Hardik Pandya (c)
  6. Robin Minz (wk)
  7. Naman Dhir
  8. Mitchell Santner
  9. Deepak Chahar
  10. Jasprit Bumrah
  11. Allah Ghazanfar

Best Impact Player: Trent Boult

At number 2, we have the IPL 2024 Runner-up, SRH with a playing 11 rating of 8.938. SRH are known for their dynamic T20 batters, and when you have a lineup that comprises of Abhishek, Head, Kishan, Reddy, and Heinrich, you know it is fire. However, SRH have a below-par lower-order, and they will have to overcome this weakness with their bowling, which is no wonder top notch.

IPL 2025 Strongest Playing 11 for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH):

  1. Travis Head
  2. Abhishek Sharma
  3. Ishan Kishan (wk)
  4. Nitish Reddy
