IPL 2020 – CSK vs DC Match Preview:

MS Dhoni’s approach while chasing 217 against Rajasthan Royals was the talking point of the last match. When MS Dhoni came-in to bat, the required rate per over was touching 16. Even then he took 11 balls to settle, before finally bursting when the match was already gone.

To add, MS Dhoni gave chance to others before coming-in to bat at number 7, which is too low a position for him. He did give reasoning that he was giving opportunities to others, but a loss is a loss, even so, when they had a chance to win it. Nevertheless, the only positive from the game for CSK was the reduction in NNRR.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals got off of a corner in the first match against KXIP. They were almost done and dusted with 1 run needed from 3 balls before the match went to Super over, and Rabada pulled out 2 wickets in 2 balls to win it for Capitals. Strategy wise, Delhi bowled well, but it was their batting that was a big letdown.

The pitch in Dubai is expected to assist the seamers, and a score of 170-180 should be considered good on this ground. The team winning the toss has fielded first due to the dew factor, and we should expect the same tomorrow as well.

IPL 2020 CSK vs DC Predicted XIs:

Chennai Super Kings had to make 1 forced change in the playing which is playing Ruturaj Gaikwad for injured Ambati Rayudu. With Rayudu once again out of action, Gaikwad should keep his place. But, the thing which troubled CSK the most was the lack of sixth bowling option. Vijay’s lack of form should prompt MS Dhoni to play an additional bowler in the form of Karn Sharma or Shardul Thakur.

IPL 2020 CSK vs DC – Chennai Super Kings Predicted 11:

Shane Watson, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Faf du Plessis, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni (C&WK), Sam Curran, Ravindra Jadeja, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Piyush Chawla, and Lungi Ngidi.

Delhi Capitals had a settled playing 11 in the first match against KXIP, but In the absence of the injured, Ishant Sharma, Mohit didn’t bowl well. So, the only change we can expect is Ishant coming-in for Mohit. Meanwhile, Ravichandran Ashwin is fit to play the second match.

IPL 2020 CSK vs DC – Delhi Capitals Predicted 11:

Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer (C), Rishabh Pant, Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada,  Anrich Nortje, and Ishant Sharma/ Mohit Sharma

Top Fantasy Picks:

Batsmen: Shikhar Dhawan, Faf du Plessis, and Rishabh Pant

Shikhar Dhawan had an unfortunate dismissal in the first match as he fell to a run-out. He would want to make amendments in the second match with a good score under his belt. Expect some fireworks from Dhawan tomorrow.

Faf du Plessis looked in ominous touch in both the matches he has played so far. His style of going slow at the start, and then explode has worked perfectly well for him. With him in such a fine form, it would not be wise to leave him out.

Rishabh Pant has been Delhi Capitals’ key batsman for over two years now. He did decently in the first match by building a good partnership with Iyer, and scoring a run-a-ball 30. The confidence should only make him do well against CSK.

All-rounder: Sam Curran

Sam Curran seems the only good all-rounder in both the teams who is expected to give you good points. He did well in both the matches so far, and given that the pitch is expected to be seam friendly, expect him to do well again. Plus, his batting is a bonus, and him being used as a floater, high probability of getting more points.

Bowlers: Kagiso Rabada and Deepak Chahar

Kagiso Rabada is a default pick no matter which match you are playing. Shreyas Iyer uses him so wisely that he hardly bowls 2 overs in a row. He is a wicket-taker, and whenever he comes on to bowl is expected to give you wickets; thus more points.

Deepak Chahar is CSK’s go-to bowler in the power-play, and in the death overs. This is a big positive for all fantasy lovers, as you are sure of him getting you 1-2 wickets regularly. His selection is not to be missed out.

Captain & Vice-Captain Pick: Shikhar Dhawan and Sam Curran
