20 teams to play the tournament in the USA and West Indies as we look at the final squad and players list for all teams for T20 World Cup 2024.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) had set April 30 as the deadline to announce a non-mandatory provisional squad for the World Cup. Abiding by the rules as many as 11 teams have announced their squad including the likes of India, Australia, England, etc.
It was not mandatory to announce the provisional 15-member squad, and thus the likes of Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh are yet to announce the squad. The teams will have until May, end to finalize their squad, and this is also applicable to the teams that have already announced their squad. With 11 teams already announcing their squad, we still have 9 more teams to announce their squad.
