IPL 2025 Official Squad Players List for All 10 Teams Post Auction
Rishabh Pant’s historic achievement in our official squad and players list for all 10 teams post the IPL 2025 Auction.
‘A Historic Outing’ is how we would define the IPL 2025 Mega Auction as records tumbled on day 1 of the Auction. Be it the most expensive player sold in the history of the Auction in the form of Rishabh Pant, or the most expensive spinner at the Auction, or the most expensive Indian fast bowler at the Auction, all those records saw the light of the day during the historic gathering.
A total of 72 players were sold on the Day 1 of the IPL 2025 Mega Auction with 49 being Indian players, and 23 being Overseas players. Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, and Venkatesh Iyer were the top 3 most expensive players at the Auction with Pant getting 27 Cr, Shreyas Iyer getting 26.75 Cr, and Venkatesh getting 23,75 Cr. Surprisingly, some of the biggest names like KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan were sold for a meagre 14 Cr and 11.25 Cr respectively.
Overall, at the end of Day 1, Sunrisers Hyderabad spent the maximum amount at 114.85 Cr, and RCB spent the least amount at 89.35 Cr. From a team strength perspective, Gujarat Titans have the most 14 players in the squad, and MI and RCB have the least 9 players in the squad. With day 2 of the Auction scheduled for today, let’s in the meantime look at the complete official squad and players list for all 10 teams at the end of day 1 of the IPL 2025 Mega Auction.

But LSG in the final bid called 27 Cr, which Delhi Capitals just didn’t feel worth matching.
